SciPlore MindMapping ist ein Mind Mapping Tool speziell für Wissenschaftler. Es basiert auf dem bekannten FreeMind und bietet alle gängigen Features die man sich von einer Mind Mapping Software wünscht. Zusätzlich bietet SciPlore MindMapping die Möglichkeit, Einträge der Mind Map mit einem BibTeX Key zu versehen und PDF Bookmarks via Drag and Drop als neue Mind Map Zweige zu importieren. FreeMind ist in Java programmiert (lauffähig unter Windows, Linux, MacOS) und Open Source (100% kostenlos). Im Moment unterstützt SciPlore MindMapping nur den BibTeX standard, zukünftig sollen aber auch andere Formate von Zotero, etc. unterstützt werden.
