Internetserver are daily threatened by an increasing number of attacks performed by hackers all over the globe. Without protection, most of these attacks remain unnoticed.
Botshield is a novel and quickly applicable IDS/IPS security solution. As an Intrusion-Detection/Intrusion-Prevention System, a background service application monitors the internet traffic without burdening systems ressources. It detects and recognizes unusual activities and locks out suspicious IP adresses via firewall to prevent your system from being harmed. The system is easy to handle with a comfortable user interface and ready to use within 5 minutes!
The current version 1.0 protects:
Remote-Desktop (RDP)
Web-Server (HTTP/HTTPS)
File-Server (FTP)
E-Mail Services (POP3, IMAP, SMTP)
MySQL Databases
Several times a day updated Blacklists and a sensor for monitoring the filesystem are further helping to protect a server system.
