Belearn ist ein Vokabeltrainer, der auf neuesten Erkenntnissen der Lernforschung basiert. Das bewährte Karteikarten-Prinzip, schlechter gekonnte Vokabeln werden häufiger abgefragt, wurde durch moderne Analyse-Techniken erweitert, so daß eine optimale Lernwirkung erzielt wird. Neu in der Version 7 ist eine volle Unicode-Unterstützung, so ist auch das Lernen von z.B. Chinesisch, Japanisch und Arabisch möglich.
