The IBAN-Calculator generates, checks and analyzes IBAN numbers. IBAN stands for "International Banking Account Number". It is a number for worldwide use of your current account. IBAN replaces the use of a combined account number and bank code number. Money transfers to foreign countries used to be quite expensive. Meanwhile all banks offer EU standard money transfers for the price of domestic money transfers. A valid IBAN number is one thing you need to place an EU standard money transfer. Everybody who sends money to foreign (European) countries or receives money from any of these countries needs the IBAN-Calculator. This program protects you from a lot trouble caused by expensive booking errors.
