ePTE (electronic Periodic Table of the Elements) ist ein elektronisches Periodensystem der Elemente mit einer intuitiv zu bedienenden grafischen Benutzeroberfl?che. Es bietet ausf?hrliche Informationen zu den Elementen sowie Suchfunktionen um bestimmte Elemente zu finden. Elemente mit speziellen Eigenschaften (Halbmetalle, Edelgase, radioaktive) lassen sich hervorheben. N?tzliche Einheiten-Umrechner sind ebenfalls im Paket enthalten.
Damit man die Begriffe des Periodensystems der Elemente auch versteht, ist eine Hilfedatei mit eingebaut. Interessant an ePTE ist auch die Lizenz, denn ePTE steht unter der GPL und ist somit im Quellcode wie auch als ausf?hrbares Programm kostenlos.
