AppStar was programmed to simplify the search for and the exchange of files in the internet. It's possible to exchange all types of files, for example mp3s, pictures, videos, texts and programs. Of course, only those files should be shared that are not copyrighted. But the program works without a server, so there is no server that could control anything. The greatest feature of AppStar ist resuming. That means if the sender or the receiver or both of them go offline, the download is automatically continued if the receiver's program can locate the sender, that's if both, sender and receiver, are online again.
