Die LuraDocument Technologie zur Dokumenten-Komprimierung von LuraTech bietet eine sehr hohe Qualität bei äußerst geringen Dateigrößen. So läßt sich z.B. ein mit 300dpi gescanntes A4-Dokument (z.B. eine illustrierte Zeitschriftenseite) von ca. 25MB unkomprimierter Dateigröße auf weniger als 100 KB im LDF-Format reduzieren. Weitere interessante Eigenschaften der LDF-Dateien sind die Multi-Layer-Darstellung, die Multi-Page-Fähigkeit sowie die 100%ige Kompatibilität zum Standardformat Fax G4.
