AnoProxy stellt einen Proxy-Server auf dem lokalen Computer oder im Netzwerk zur Verfügung. Mit Hilfe des Proxy-Servers ist es möglich Anonym im Internet zu surfen, Browsernamen, Betriebssystemangabe, Cookies, Herkunftsseite (Referer), Scripte, ActiveX Control und Flashanimationen zu unterbinden. Ebenfalls können bestimmte Webseiten, Bilder und Werbung durch die Software blockiert werden. Zusätzlich bietet AnoProxy die Möglichkeit zum Löschen von Internetsurfspuren (Cookies, Temporäre Internetdateien usw.), einen Popup-Killer (nur für Internet Explorer) und einen Downloadmanager (nur für Internet Explorer). AnoProxy kann mit einem Modem, ISDN, DSL und im Netzwerk verwendet werden.
