Copy Backup ist ein einfaches Datensicherungsprogramm. Zu sichernde Dateien werden spiegelbildlich auf ein Sicherungsmedium (ZIP-, LS-Diskette, andere Festplatte) kopiert. Optional können die Dateien dabei verschlüsselt werden. Bei Bedarf kopiert das Programm eine oder mehrere gesicherte Dateien an den Ursprungsort zurück. Alle zu sichernden oder wiederherzustellenden Dateien werden vor dem tatsächlichen Kopiervorgang erst einmal angezeigt, Dateien können dann an- und abgewählt werden. Sicherungsvorgänge können automatisiert werden.
