QuickBackup wird in Excel 97/2000/ XP als Symbolleiste eingefügt und kann beliebig positioniert werden. Sie haben die Auswahl von bis zu 3 verschiedenen B-Zielen, die frei konfigurierbar sind (mit/ohne Stammpfad, als Historybackup oder im Netzwerk). Mit nur einem Klick wird die aktuelle Excelanwendung nicht nur in Ihrem Stammverzeichnis, sondern in allen ausgewählten Verzeichnissen gespeichert. Auf Wunsch ist einstellbar, ob nach dem Speichern die Anwendung und sogar Excel beendet wird.
Ihre Datensicherung ist somit mit dem Beenden von Excel abgeschlossen.
