"SMART HDD" using SMART technology provides analysis and diagnostics of hard disk drives decreasing risk of information loss on your computer. It determines performance of hard disk drive and defragments file systems. "SMART HDD" has capabilities to tune hard disk drive by controlling its performance, acoustic noise and temperature.
The basic principle of "SMART HDD" is minimally possible usage of computer resources since any program which implements monitoring must always reside in random access memory of computer, decreasing the capacity of available memory for other applications, and also use CPU resources for analysis. In addition, small size of program which is about 49k B provides quick start and minimizes installation time via Internet. This software is compatible with Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Vista operating systems.
