Mit RSSWriter können komplette RSS-Feeds (RSS 2.0) inkl. Anhänge (Enclosures) erstellt und sofort per (S)FTP ins Internet übertragen werden. In den RSS-Feed-Einträgen können formatierte HTML-Texte im WYSIWYG-HTML-Editor direkt eingegeben oder aus externen Dateien importiert werden. Bestehende RSS-Feed-Dateien lassen sich über die Import-Funktion direkt aus dem Internet oder aus einer lokalen XML-Datei in die Software übernehmen. RSSWriter unterstützt das Speichern von RSS-Feed-Dateien im UTF-8 Format, so dass ebenfalls nicht lateinische Zeichen z.B. Russisch oder Polnisch in den Einträgen verwendet werden können.
